About Our Fabric
What is Doria lawn?
Doria lawn is a fine, lightweight woven cotton fabric known for its soft, breathable feel and subtle textured weave — the word "Doria" refers to the fine thread-like texture running through the cloth. It's non-see-through, holds digital prints beautifully, and is one of the most popular fabric choices for summer wear across South Asia. Our Imsha and Virsa collections are crafted specifically in Doria lawn.
What's the difference between your collections — Rijja, Zimal, Imsha, and Virsa?
Each collection has its own fabric and design identity. Rijja is our flagship line, available in both 3-piece and 2-piece formats with bold, versatile prints. Zimal is a luxury lawn collection with refined, elegant prints. Imsha and Virsa are both crafted in premium Doria lawn — Imsha leans artistic and textured, while Virsa draws on heritage-inspired prints. Browse each collection page to see the current designs.
Is the fabric colour exactly as shown in the photos?
We photograph every design in natural light to keep colours as accurate as possible, but slight variation can occur depending on your screen's brightness and colour settings. This is standard across the lawn industry and not a fabric defect.
Will the colours run or fade in the wash?
Digitally printed lawn can release a small amount of colour in the first one or two washes, which is normal for this type of fabric. To keep colours vibrant: soak in cold water before the first wash, always wash dark and light pieces separately, dry in shade rather than direct sunlight, and iron on a medium heat setting.
Sizing & Stitching
How much fabric comes in a 3-piece unstitched suit?
Our standard 3-piece sets include a 3.00 metre shirt, a 2.50 metre dupatta, and a 2.50 metre trouser piece — enough fabric for most standard stitching styles including straight cut, A-line, and angrakha designs. Exact yardage is listed on each product page.
How much fabric comes in a 2-piece unstitched suit?
Our 2-piece sets include a 2.50 metre shirt and a 2.50 metre trouser piece — no dupatta included, ideal for co-ord style dressing or if you prefer to pair the shirt with a dupatta from your existing wardrobe.
What does "unstitched" mean, and why buy unstitched instead of ready-made?
Unstitched means the fabric is sold as uncut, unsewn yardage rather than a finished garment. You take it to a tailor of your choice and have it stitched to your exact measurements, in whatever neckline, sleeve length, and silhouette you prefer — straight cut, frock style, angrakha, or anything else. It gives you full control over fit and style, which is why unstitched lawn remains the preferred choice for most women shopping for everyday and occasion wear.
Do you offer stitching services?
We currently sell fabric unstitched only. We recommend taking your suit to a trusted local tailor — our fabric yardage is generous enough to accommodate most standard stitching styles without running short.
